Since you deal physical damage but rely on intelligence scaling, it can be awkward to fit a necromancer into a 4-person party. Teleport also scales decently well as an offensive ability with necromancers. A few good options include Shield Throw from Warfare, or dipping a point into summoning for totems. You'll want alternate schools to supplement your necro attacks in the first act. More than other trees, Necromancers are shy on substantive offensive skills early on. You only need enough Necro points to unlock spells. To actually use skill points to scale up your necro damage, you'll want to invest points into Warfare instead, as that increases all physical damage dealt.
