Realm royale elemental weapons1/8/2023 Yes, it's clear, that the very idea is absurd, since everything depends on circumstances obviously. I put some thought into comprising my list actually. Oh hey, while we are on the topic of weapons with elemental effects, what does the lightning effect do? Anything? I would swap them cause FIRE stone staff > FROST Heirloom. Other than that I pretty much agree with your list except for heirloom vs stone staff. It's an ok weapon but not for mid to late game, which is the only time you can get it. Slow fire rate and limited distance and slight travel speed with damage not making up for it. I never see people use the plasma launcher and that's for good reason. The Arbalest is like a slower but more powerful slug so I would increase it's placement while dropping hammers placement way down due to it's slow travel speed and lack of damage to make up for it. AR and SMG are pretty do the same job of getting in someones face and drain them in seconds (but one does it better) so they would be at around 15-16 with shotgun falling behind them as you stated. I would put LMG at 20 because theres no point in the game where you can obtain it and it be useful, then I would put bolt staff right after at 19 cause that thing is garbage ESPECIALLY FOR a class weapon, followed by ice staff at 18 for the same reason. I don't think you can say that about any other weapon as strongly. You never have a game where out of the top 5 surviving teams, not one of them is carrying a sniper. Still low tier but def more useful than the LMG.Īlso why are you putting Sniper so low but Bolt Staff and Frost staff so high? Aren't they both extremely crap for their low damage mixed with their low fire-rate? As far as sniper goes, it's like one of the top 5 end-game weapons unless the circle gets to small for an indoor place. While Blizzard admits that this isn’t quite intuitive, they also state that it’s working as intended, despite technically being a bug.Bruh, shotgun got buffed, it 3 hit kills now. To add to the confusion, the combat log will display the damage if an enemy with an elemental shield blocks it. This damage is instead calculated as additional physical damage. “We wanted to take a moment to clarify that the extra elemental damage from weapons such as Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, Iceblade Hacker, and Warblade of Caer Darrow are behaving as expected in WoW Classic and do not actually cause additional non-physical damage to the target.”īlizzard clarifies that these weapons do still inflict extra damage as stated, but that this is added to the damage being dealt, leading for it to not be present in the combat log separately. Responding to a user report, Blizzard publicly discussed the bug in question. This specifically deals with weapons like Iceblade Hacker, Warblade of Caer Darrow, and the legendary Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker. This arose with issues over the extra elemental damage that a handful of weapons are supposed to be dealing, as players weren’t able to see the extra damage.īlizzard has clarified that the extra elemental damage from weapons like Thunderfury, while unintuitive, is working as intended in #WoWClassic. Generally, players are a fan of this – the title doesn’t have the same double-XP buff that the Retail servers have, which has been viewed favorably.īut sometimes this can get a bit confusing, leading Blizzard to need to step in. Regardless of how sound that logic might seem, Blizzard is completely dedicated to bringing the Vanilla experience back, as they promised. This may sound bizarre on the surface – a developer willingly leaving a bug in place just because other players once had to deal with it? Wouldn’t it make more sense for the developers to take this opportunity to fix problems they couldn’t before? When this happens, Blizzard fixes some of them, but generally prefer to leave them there to remain faithful. However, this can also manifest itself in having some of the original bugs and glitches from Vanilla pop up in the new Classicexperience. This can come off in some fantastic ways, providing some excellent nostalgia and difficult gameplay to players that want to recapture that feeling or experience it for the first time. World of Warcraft: Classic is dedicated to remaining as faithful to the Vanilla experience as it possibly can.
